Subzero

It's deep freeze time here in my town.
It is -21 C (-6 F)

So here is the rule.
Use subzero in the exact middle of a sentence.
There must be an equal number of words before and after 'subzero'

Epiglotis

Chrysanthemum

We all know that a chrysanthemum is a flower, however I'm looking for creative definitions. I hope by choosing a word with many syllables with give lots of scope for your imaginations.
