Fruitcake

I mean, really. Fruit goes in PIE.

that said, you could get totally smashed if you ate my grandma's. which, if you knew her, you would also find incongruous. ;)

My Mom made a mean fruitcake for Christmas. none of that rindy crap in it ... it had strawberries in it too !!!

LOL

I wonder how we ever came to use the term fruitcake toward those who were a little bit "off"

hmmmm

In my town we have one street with four names. The street is straight as an arrow but it has four names. It starts out as Ridout, then at a set of lights it becomes Upper Queens and then at a 4 way stop it becomes Nelson and then the next set of lights it becomes Ernest.

Now that is pretty incongruous.
Must have been a few fruitcakes sitting in on the town counsel meeting. ;-)

Y'know, Hap, if you'd gone with being oinked at by a pig, I think I'd have had to give it to you. As it is, I think Katherine's answer is the best example of incongruity (and where did that expression come from, anyway? it's one of the weirder ones in a weird language), so I'm giving her the round.

Also, Katherine, on an unconnected note: it's rather odd that we each posted the video to Kyrie within ten days of each other, completely independently.

ah, bah. Just too late to get in.

I was going to submit the 10 year old Amish kid I saw the other day, coasting down Hwy 13 on the handlebars of his bike . . .

Thanks - not sure where the origins are, either. As to Kyrie - that is odd...
