Suddenly gusty
Sudden commotion

As a Winnie the Pooh fan I must say that's a great answer Erin. I can't think of anything better.

Blast you Erin! How depressing to have already lost this round.

But hope springs eternal so how about

A guilty politician trying to deflect blame onto someone else -- the media, his/her aides, special interests, yada, yada, yada....

since it took place less than a mile from my home i have to say...

the protesters outside the republican national convention AND the words going on inside it

(see what i did there. i included both sides. i'm a bipartisan misanthrope.)

Hello All. I'm going to give this until Sunday night for any late comers or those that think they can do better that Pooh rain.

...and that's not a hint Erin! :)

I'm going to have to go with Jon on this one y'all. I can't imagine a place any more blustery than standing in the middle of all that bullshit!!

yes!

i'm so oblivious to that world that i totally didn't even realize the convention was starting that day. i drove through downtown to get home that night instead of taking the freeway. i happened upon the scene right at the moment the protesters decided to march from the capitol to the venue a couple of blocks away. suddenly and without warning there were people everywhere, 20 cops in riot gear on EVERY street corner.

i even saw a swat truck. the back door was open and inside i saw a cop in full-on gear just sitting there with his nose in his hand sighing to himself. i think that was the best part for me.

finally i made it home and the wife and i caught a bit of the convention. i was hard pressed to say which group i wanted to be a part of less.

is it too late to resurrect monty brewster's genuis "none of the above" campaign?

give me 'til morning to come up with an adjective.
