Well that's exciting! Sorry for the late arrival...I was away for a few days.
We were down your way Erin, camping on the Olympic Peninsula at Salt Creek near Port Angeles. Have you been around there? It's so beautiful! The weather was about 15 degrees cooler by the ocean so we didn't even realize that there was a sweltering heat wave going on until we took a drive to Forks. What a surprise that was when we got out of the car to 100 degree heat!
We're actually all the way down in Portland, but yes, I can imagine your surprise. It's been fantastically hot this week.
I haven't spent a lot of time up there, but been up that way a few times.
