heh. crows. makes me think of the time our cat got stuck up a tree and about half a dozen of them showed up on the branch above her and just sat there and mocked her. I swear they were laughing.

By the way Erin - you handled that very gracefully.
All indicators (location and tone) say it is the same person that Pam has had around. Several people I know have been visited by this same person, and when they try to be friendly they are met by increasingly nastier comments. So I guess I had little patience for him/her, and turned my anon. comments off after just a few. Hope that takes care of it, if not I'll have to moderate for awhile, which I HATE.
I have no problems engaging people who disagree with me...it takes all kinds...but if that disagreement takes the form of rude, nasty or spiteful words and the person refuses to put their name behind them...well, good riddance.
George Carlin was a great answer and while he was definitely sassy and that's what appealed to me, I don't find that he was rude or presumptuous. This world has lost a great man who was not afraid to challenge what "could not be spoken". May he rest in peace.
With that said, SARA wins this round for Editorial Cartoonists. I was funny that I tried to post this before without signing in but google was down. The verification was takbw. So Sara, take a bow!!
Erin, I don't remember but doesn't google give you the ability to block single users?
Actually, Carlin was sometimes rude--but never, iirc, without reason and provocation. Agreed he was never presumptuous (a thought which occurred to me as well); we're the poorer for his death.
Yes, there is a way to block an IP address from commenting on your blog through blogger. Haven't done it, but I remember, when I set up my blog, I saw the option...

Thank you Ruth. He/She hit 6 of my posts yesterday and I have to admit by the end I wasn't quite so graceful, but so be it.
And yes, impudent is a good word for it.
Have mercy on me, I can't find the post.... Erin has too many blogs lol
Never mind, found it, YIKES!!!!

Erin,
Ouch, I wonder if it's the same as Pam's? Ick, ick...

I agree. It's insidious! (Oh another good word for Apples2Apples)
And this person is being so hypocrytical. Who do they think they are defending? ...cause it certainly isn't Jesus
