Me for about 11 hours last night. (I seem to remember when "batchin' it" used to involve a little activity. Now it's all about catching up)

Mt. Hood, thank goodness. I live in the shadow of it.

Winter in Inuvik

Ruth - I am curious how you know what winter in Inuvik is like...

I just guessed the coldest most desolate place I could think of. However, I have experienced winter in Winterpeg...I mean Winnipeg...for the first 7 years of my life.

i love winnipeg! when we lived in the small town of thief river falls, minnesota (which was about 2 hours away from winnipeg if i recall) we traveled there at least 6 times in those 8 years. we would go for the museum of natural history. i have exceedingly grand memories of that place.

i believe it was in winnipeg when i convinced my dad to buy me dokken's "back for the attack" on cassette. the tape was black instead of clear like in the states.

my aunt judy, from kansas, almost choked to death in a kentucky fried chicken in winnipeg. but she was sitting at a different booth and i didn't know it had happened until it was all over and my uncle kent had already given her the heimlich.

i think i was too busy being distracted by masses of people pouring vinegar on their fries. my brain didn't want to believe it. but it happened in front of my own eyes over and over. people putting vinegar on their fries and actually... enjoying it. (shiver) :-)

wow. thanks for triggering that bit of nostalgia. it was fun to relive!

Leave it to Jon to turn any story into something about music ;-)

Ruth - I was just curious, thought maybe you had lived there or something.

LOLOLOLO - yes we love our vinegar on fries! And white vinegar too. Not that nasty malt stuff. My husband douses his fries until they are soggy in a puddle.

I can't say I miss Winnipeg weather though.

Malt vinegar ALL the way Ruth ... :-)

I have been up early .. made a huge pumpkin pie and some teeny little pumpkin tarts.
Stuffed the turkey. It's roasting now. Gonna peel up some apple pies so we can eat them warm with ice cream after dinner.

Headin' out for a walk in the woods to drink in the colours ... then back to put the cider on with cinnamon sticks. Throw the squash in and peel the taters and get the rest of the veggies ready.

Listening to John Mayer

"I know the Heart of life is good."

I love Thanksgiving ...

We are so blessed

You guys make me laugh out loud ...

You are altogether cool.

All great answers

The office building gets it!

Go Davida :-)

Ahh yes, happy Thanksgiving to the Canadian folk!

I want to come to your house Val for Thanksgiving! It sounds so inviting. We're going to my sister-in-laws and I'm making the mashed potatoes right now. Funny thing ....I'm listening to John Mayer too.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian Friends.

Jon ~ Dude, I haven't thought of that "album" for years. Thanks!!

Thanks Erin
Thanks Mike

Ruth ... just wanted you to know it snowed in Winterpeg today. :-)

It was whopping 78 degrees at my house today, though.

You were second in line with that answer Jon. We could all use a little magical mystery tour to come and take us away.

I was wondering the same thing, Jon.
