nice Les Mis reference, rob...

The Les Mis reference should win. Nice . . . I was gonna say Agent Smith, but Rob's is much better. Although perhaps Captain Ahab comes close . . .

Yeah, I'm going with Captain Ahab.

Ooh . . . Javert and Ahab . . . two of the most obsessive characters in all of literature. Tough round. And given that a Canadian's judging, a gratuitous Hillary Clinton crack is probably out. :) In which case, I'll go with . . .

ROBERT MUGABE

A Canadian is judging? I used to live up in the great white north myself.

Maybe I should change my answer to Doug and Bob McKenzie in a beer factory, eh?

rofl.. just kidding

Take off, to the Great White North,
Take off, it's a beauty place to go.
Thanks for reminding me of those two td.

Bob and Doug were quite the reps for Canada LOLOL

Wow all these are definitely obsessions

I liked nosepickers the best but Erin is going to be away.

I kinda liked Hillary,Sara. What do you think of Obama ... I think he just might win.

Take off, Sara, for coming up with a modern day obsessed dictator.

On Obama? We'll see. Politically, he's about as far left as you can get in American politics and still be even somewhat electable. It's inevitable that the right is going to highligh how far left he really is (at least, according to his voting record). Traditional wisdom would say he'd have to move towards the center somewhat to actually win a general election. We'll see what happens.

Remember, Canadian politics, are in general several degrees more liberal than American ones. Your typical NDP candidate would be several steps too far left to have a chance here, but they're a viable party in Canada. And your typical Canadian Consevative would only be a moderate Republican. The right of our right are considered fringe loonies by a lot of Canadians. :) (Rob and I lived in Canada for 5 years.)
