p.s. Erin, I've been meaning to tell you for ages - I LOVE that picture of you. :)

Why, thank you Happy. It's one of the few photos I possess that I will allow to be seen in public. ;-)

Kimberly - Do you want me to change your name in the sidebar list of participants from Thankfully Broken to Kimberly? I didn't use your name initially because I wasn't sure.

Erin,
Thank you that would be great. I should be able to figure out how to do that and yet I am slowly starting to explore the how to's of blogging. One thing at a time, Kimberly

Sadie ... my daughter's 3 month old Pomeranian. Cutest little being in the world.

Prayer request

My son is in the hands of a psychiatrist who is wanting us to walk down a road we have already walked before with poor results. She is not listening well to my son's history with their drugs. She is not doing her research and she is quite pushy and I think this is what is making me so uncomfortable.

I get awful feelings in the pit of my stomach sometimes ... other than this I am not quite sure why I'm feeling this way.

She has been deceitful with us on two occasions and maybe that is it ... I'm not sure.

Please pray for us...
Thanks :-(

Valorosa - Absolutely! I don't know what you are able to do, but I will pray that your son comes under the care of someone who better understands his situation, or that God grants you peace with this psychiatrist.

Ruth said...

Yes I will pray too. It's hard to know when you should entrust yourself to the system and relinquish control or to trust your gut.

Rob Harrison said...

Me too. That's a vulnerable and scary place to be.

Rob Harrison said...

Oh, and Erin, you're welcome. (I meant to post that, then read Valorosa's comment . . .)

Valorosa~
My opinion? Trust your gut. A psychiatrist who does not listen is not a good one. I pray Papa guide you to the right one and help this work out in your son's favor.

Time to pick a winner, and it goes to Kimberly/Thankfully Broken with the donkey from Shrek who is very gregarious.

(Prayers also for Wendy and her son)
